Faris was born a normal human in Athens, Greece. He was raised with the belief that all magical creatures were evil and wanted to end the human race, but never saw anything that proved the idea, so he never believed it was true. He believed everyone was just afraid of what they didn't understand.

One day, while out dreading being drafted into the war, he stumbled upon a sword, copper in color with a guard like birds' wings, lying out in the middle of a deserted battlefield. He felt drawn to it and picked it up. The second he did, a white pyric column surrounded him. In the fire, Faris saw the truth. That the war truly was just two different peoples with the same fear: the others' power; and that the end result was the ultimate destruction of both sides. He'd vowed before to himself that he would always help anyone who needed him...and right now, the world needed him. He knew that day, that he was destined to end the war...before it's too late.

Out of gratitude for taking on such a task as ending a war that had been fought for centuries, the Gods gave Faris the abilities and appearance of an angel. The fate of the world now rested in the hands of one man...who would stop at nothing to end the fear and the hate.

I worked as much with the descriptions as I could. I couldn't do much for his accent except say he's Greek. I say Greek because I used the Greek names generator to name him. Since his eyes are closed, you can't see what color they are, but they are azure. The rest I think I did pretty well with. The long, luxuries, amethyst-colored hair; the 'I'll always help whoever needs me' personality. Oh and the pose was inspired by a picture of a male model I saw.

The sword itself was easy; copper color, bird wings for a guard. And the sword's name is NightFire, which is derived from the fact that he found it at night and the thing with the fire.

EDIT: I wanted to change the background, so I did. I couldn't decide between fire or a moon...so I went with both.

EDIT2: I changed the picture to match my new style...and I like it! So much better, right? I made the fire white since it was a white fire that surrounded him. The only thing I didn't actually change was his skin and clothes. I just erased a few things here and there. The sword is darker; his hair...well, you should be able to tell; the wings are different. I like the way this came out. Me happy.

EDIT3: Yes, I changed the color of his hair and, rather than give you a long explanation as to why, let's just say a bad person gave me bad info, ok? That is the actual color of an amethyst. Like I said, I won't go into any detail because it's a long story, so it's best not to ask questions. Anyway, of course, changing the hair meant I had to change the colors of other things, too, like his shirt, to match it. Lucky me, I always keep the PSD format as well as the jpg in case of an emergency.
